Purchasing from the
website
If
you would like to purchase an item direct from the website, please
telephone your order through on 01342 717836 or email us at orders@antiquechandeliers.co.uk.
All items are offered subject to availability. We aim to keep
the website up to date as possible but from time to time, there may be
a slight time delay between updates.
We
will then reserve your item and send you an invoice. To
confirm your purchase, please ensure your cheque or payment reaches us
within 3 working days, we currently accept cheques and bank transfer.
We can also accept Paypal for small cost items. Please read our section
on delivery below prior to ordering.
Delivery
We
personally deliver most weeks to Central London for which there is no
additional charge, we are also happy to deliver locally
within Surrey and Sussex. For
other areas, we can arrange transportation and shipping as required,
alternatively items can be collected directly from our
showroom.
We
receive many orders from abroad and are happy to quote for shipping
worldwide. We would advise that large high quality chandeliers and
items are collected and packed by specialist shippers; less costly
items can be packed in house. Depending on the level of packaging
required, a charge may have to be made to cover the cost of the
manufacture or purchase of crating and
packing. Customers ordering items
for shipping abroad must accept that we are not responsible for any
loss or damage arising once the item/s are passed to carriers. If we
undertake the packaging on behalf of the purchaser, we endeavour to
pack items well however customers must note that the majority of non
specialist carriers will not insure antiques and use of these carriers
is at the customers' own risk.
We
can of course advise on suitable specialist carriers for both UK and
shipped abroad items, please contact us for
details.
Visiting the
Showroom
If
you are able to visit us to see our stock, we much prefer that you do
so as we believe that it's difficult to appreciate the quality of an
item fully, using a web browser. Many of our stock items are
high quality investment purchases and we want you to be sure of your
purchase with us. However if you are not able to visit in person and
require any further information on any item from condition report,
measurements, dating, transportation to hanging, please don't hesitate
to contact us. If you would like to
visit the showroom, please telephone or email for an appointment or
telephone before travelling as we are generally open by appointment.

page. Electric
Wiring All items are advertised as
is and for some items that means unwired and/or unpolished. The reason
for this is that they then can be finished to customer requirements
and/or re-wired when reaching their destination country.
We undertake wiring for
the UK only, which can be carried out at reasonable charge. Please
contact us for prices. For chandeliers we can offer rewiring with
either "French Candles" or with traditional candle cards.

Chandelier
Installation
We
can offer this service through associated contractors that are
experienced in this field. We electrically test fittings prior to
hanging and again once installed. This service is currently available
for UK only. Chandelier installation of large crystal and glass
chandeliers is specialist work that is usually beyond the the skills
set of most electricians.
